Josh and Sara

Our Story
In 2020, when the world slowed down, Josh and Sara Brown turned to winemaking as a creative outlet. What began as a small experiment quickly became a passion—shaped by trial, error, and plenty of patience. With each crush, each stretch of aging, and each careful blend, they came to see winemaking not just as a craft, but as a form of art.

Inspired by the winemakers of California, the Finger Lakes, Argentina, and even newer regions like Colorado—while honoring the tradition of Pennsylvania wine—they built Liminal Vines around a simple idea: to create wines worth sharing. Today, from Pennsylvania, they crush, age, and blend small batches for their friends and family—and for new friends they’ve yet to meet online.

At Liminal Vines, every bottle marks a threshold: a step between tradition and innovation, past and possibility. It’s wine crafted with care, to be shared with those closest to us and with the wider world.
