Grown in the microclimate of New York—where cool waterfall mist meets warm summer air—and fermented and aged in Pennsylvania, Liminal Vines crafts wines with unabashed honesty. No residual sugar. No compromises. The driest Riesling in the Liminal Vines collection, this bone dry bottling is pure varietal character laid bare—aromas of green apple and citrus peel with the cold, clean bite of crisp autumn air after a fall rain. Every trace of sweetness has been fermented away, leaving only what the vine intended. Of the three Rieslings in our collection—bone dry, off-dry, and semi-dry—this stands firmly at the driest end, crafted for those who prefer their Riesling with nothing to hide.

Artwork generously provided by Mark Altrogge, whose work has quietly influenced how I see the world. Mark is a retired pastor, painter, and songwriter who continues to invest in his hometown and in the lives of others through his art and his example. There is a steadiness to what he creates—something thoughtful and enduring.

His painting reflects a landscape that is both rooted and reaching, which is another way of describing the space we all live in—between what has been and what is still becoming. That same tension is present here—a wine formed in the liminal space between what has been and what is becoming.
