Grown in the microclimate of New York—where cool waterfall mist meets warm summer air—and fermented and aged in Pennsylvania, Liminal Vines crafts wines with unabashed honesty. This bright, off-dry Riesling carries notes of ripe peach and honey, with a thread of crisp, cold freshness drawn from pristine glacial waters. Balanced with gentle sweetness, it is refreshing, expressive, and easy to return to. Of the three Rieslings in our collection—bone dry, off-dry, and semi-dry—this sits squarely in the middle, offering a balanced path between the two.

Artwork generously provided by Mark Altrogge, whose work has quietly influenced how I see the world. Mark is a retired pastor, painter, and songwriter who continues to invest in his hometown and in the lives of others through his art and his example. There is a steadiness to what he creates—something thoughtful and enduring.

His painting reflects a landscape that is both rooted and reaching, which is another way of describing the space we all live in—between what has been and what is still becoming. That same tension is present here—a wine formed in the liminal space between what has been and what is becoming.
